Our Story
August 2020
Our journey commenced in August 2020 amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. Realising the detrimental impact of services solely driven by profit margins, such as exorbitant money transmission fees, on the value of funds being remitted back home to South Sudan, we were compelled to take action.
Struggle & Realisation
Struggling to find efficient and affordable methods to send money, we recognised the urgent need for a community-focused and effective solution. This realization led to the birth of Our Group, with a steadfast commitment to empower our community by providing innovative and convenient financial services while constantly refining our approach.

As we strive to meet the evolving needs of our community, we pledge to continually assess and understand the dynamics of our customers' requirements. This commitment drives us to explore and add more services to our business structure, ensuring that we remain responsive and adaptable to the changing landscape. Our inaugural achievement was the establishment of SMG Money, formerly known as Panaguedhok Express. As a pioneering force in the money services industry, SMG Money has swiftly emerged as a catalyst for positive change, disrupting the status quo and championing fair and accessible financial solutions for all.
